Volunteering at Bridport Community Kitchen

We welcome volunteers in any capacity at Bridport Community Kitchen. Please see below a list of our objectives:

To deliver freshly prepared nutritional meals meeting required standards
To offer accessible, comfortable space at regular stated days and times
To signpost to other appropriate agencies that can offer help and support to our users
To promote hope and well-being for vulnerable people who come to the Kitchen
To offer laundry and showering facilities
To support, encourage, value, train and develop our volunteers who understand and accept our ethos
To establish positive leadership and direction
To work with local and national organisations influencing strategic thinking around issues surrounding homelessness, and support for vulnerable people
To aim to have healthy accountability for sustainable finances and robust policies for the maintenance and well-being of the Project
To foster acceptance and inclusion
